Hunstanton is a popular seaside holiday resort with lots to do for all the family. You can enjoy the safe ENCAMS 'Blue Flag' award winning sandy beaches, amusements and a funfair, an indoor Sea Life Centre, Oasis indoor swimming and sports centre or the quieter Esplanade gardens.

As the only east coast holiday resort in the UK which faces west Hunstanton enjoys beautiful photographic sunsets across the Wash and record hours of sunshine have earned it the nickname “Sunny Hunny”. Visits to Seal island leave regularly from the South Promenade, which also hosts pony rides, entertainment and amusements which stretch along the Promenade to the funfair.
The North Promenade has beautiful gardens, walks and coastal paths overlooking the cliffs. There is a bowling green, krazy golf, and an 18 hole miniature putting green. Indoor activities include the Pier Amusements with a multiply lane 10 pin Bowling alley and the Princess Theatre.

Within easy walking distance to the south is the village of Heacham and to the north Old Hunstanton, a cycle ride away brings you to the villages of Dersingham, Ingoldisthorpe, Holme-next-the-Sea, Titchwell, Thornham, Ringstead, Sedgeford, Shernborne & Snettisham and a short drive takes you to the market towns of Brancaster, Brancaster Staithe, Burnham Deepdale, Burnham Market, Docking, Fakenham & Holt and the seaside town resorts of Well's-next-the-Sea, Sheringham and Cromer.

There are regular bus services to Kings Lynn, Cambridge, Norwich, Peterborough and local areas along the North Norfolk coast. The train station at Kings Lynn provides a WAGN rail link to Cambridge with connection's throughout East Anglia, onwards to London and the rest of England.

Together with our large choice of Self Catering, Guest Accommodation, B&Bs, Bed and Breakfasts, Hotels Hunstanton West Norfolk is the ideal all year round location for adults, groups, families with kids or toddlers, couples, the elderly, pensioners, senior citizens, OAPs and for those wishing to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and coast line of Norfolk, the Fens and East Anglia beyond.

A short distance along the famous striped cliffs is Old Hunstanton, a picturesque village with carrstone houses and an impressive medieval church, two cliff-top pitch and putt courses and a 18 hole championship golf course. There is also good access to the RSPB nature reserve at Titchwell with coastal footpaths, giving good bird watching.

The holiday resort of Heacham is 3 miles south of Hunstanton. It has two beaches, some thriving businesses, many pubs, restaurants, a Church and close by is Norfolk Lavender. Heacham also has an historic link with the Indian Princess, Pocahontas, popularised by the Disney films. The link is celebrated by a memorial in the Church and the inclusion of a replica of the Church plaque on the Village sign. 7 miles from Heacham is the royal estate of Sandringham.

Snettisham is located 5 miles south of the Victorian seaside resort of Hunstanton and 9 miles north of the town of King's Lynn. There is a RSPB nature reserve on the coast of The Wash some 2 miles to the west of the village. It consists of bird lagoons and bird observation hides. The coast around the reserve is often said to be "where Norfolk stares at Lincolnshire". This is because, unlike most of the Norfolk coast where the sea stretches to the horizon, the nature reserve looks across the square-mouthed estuary of The Wash at the county of Lincolnshire, only 15 miles away.

The village of Dersingham is 2 miles from Sandringham and 7 miles from the seaside town of Hunstanton. Dersingham has a Post Office, two pubs, garden centre, local shops, garage, cycle shop and two takeaways.

Ingoldisthorpe is located between the villages of Snettisham and Dersingham. Close to the village of Ingoldisthorpe is Snettisham Park, 320 acres of beautiful Norfolk countryside.
